Adding New Songs
To add a new song just duplicate BP_Song00 (Keep the same naming style just changing the numbers)
Open the Song BP you just created and edit the variables:SongArrows is a list of the arrow combinations that will appear in the game.
0=No arrow, 1=Arrow in rows of 4 digits. They are grouped as you see them during the game (Left,Down,Up,Right). For example if I want the next step to be < > I will need to write 1001 for that row.
The number of rows needed will depend on the length of the song and on the delay between arrows.SongTitle is the Title of the Song
DelayBetweenArrows is the frequency with which the arrows appear. Examples: 150=Slow 100=Medium 50=Fast
SongFile select in that variable the Cue containing the song File
Once you have your new Song File you will need to open the BP_GameSetup game instance and register the song there by modifying the following variables:
SongList add a new array element for each song and select its BP
SongTitle add a new array element for each song with its title in the same order as in the SongList
SongIcons same as at the previous variables, select an icon for each song in order
Arrow Speed
The difficulty of the game is given by the delay between arrows, but the four arrows Blueprints include a Speed variable that can be edited to make them move faster.
